Miami New Times Partnering with Foursquare, Badge Included

Are you a fan our Best of Miami issue, right? Of course you are! You're still holding on to last year's issue crossing off the places you've visit and are eagerly awaiting until June comes along for a new set of restaurants, nightclubs, and shops to hit up. You've even gone so far as to download the app.

But you've never had a way to brag to all of your friends that you've visited the best places in the 305 -- until now.

Today we're announcing our new partnership with Foursquare, which includes a special Best of Miami badge. Naturally, the only way you can earn the badge is by checking into places we've bestowed the Best of Miami title.

But our partnership with Foursquare goes beyond just a shiny new badge. Our location site, Voice Places, will sync up with Foursquare so you can check into events, find out what's trending, and other special Magic City tips.
