Miami's Best Eats and Drinks This Weekend
If you get a cake and candles every year for your birthday, it's only natural to spread the love and celebrate a restaurant's birthday with the same excitement. OK, it's totally fine to be a little jealous considering they're aging isn't as apparent as ours. But their wallpaper chipping is like our greying, so it evens out. This week, two Miami staples have turned a year old. Last year, Blue Collar and The Federal opened during the same week. It was the first time Miami had ever been introduced to food of its kind. If you haven't been back since they first opened, shame on you. If you haven't been at all, shame on us. Haven't we expressed our love for both enough to convince you? Head on over to see what one year of age and wisdom has done to the food and the vibe.

Last Sunday, OTC launched their brunch service. Think eggs Benedict ($9.50), vanilla French toast ($9.50), "steak and eggs" where by "steak" we mean delicious short ribs ($14)... the pricing could not be any more attractive given we don't make enough money to indulge in $75 a head brunches. We struggle just like you. Take advantage of the fact that "affordable" and "brunch" are rarely put in the same sentence together. Did we mention the bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and champagne for just 15 bucks. Bargain eating is so rewarding.
