The south Florida fast food chain has inked a deal with Saudi Arabian company Mazah Trading and Contracting Co. Lt, to open 56 restaurants in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain.
The restaurants will be operated under the name Al Zarah Group. A flagship Saudi Arabian location will serve as a training facility for future stores.
- Miami Subs Announce Brand Revamp, World Expansion
Back in July, Miami Subs' equity partner and spokesperson, Pitbull, announced the brand's new menu and plans for expansion into South America.
If your future plans don't include a trip to Saudi Arabia, don't fret. Miami Subs has also announced the opening of three new Miami-area locations in Miami Springs, Miami, and South Beach (exact addresses to be announced).
The original SoBe location, on the corner of Lincoln Road and Washington Avenue, now closed, was where a young Armando Christian Perez, now Pitbull, used to hang out, "writing music, coming up with new ideas, or just messing around with the employees."
