Miami's Best Eats and Drinks This Weekend
Super Bowl Out
The Queen
Ooh, Beyonce, girl, you better believe we're putting our dancing shoes on. OK, so the Super Bowl isn't exactly a hip shaking affair, but that's no reason to make it any less of a party. Check out all the places around town hosting watch parties. Many of them are offering great drink and bar bit specials. If you plan on staying in for the big game, though, we've got you covered on that front as well.
Super Bowl In
Sorry if this causes you to cheat today.
For those who care to keep the party in the confinements of a safe home (so as to avoid potential Batimore v. San Francisco beer brawls in a public establishment,) home bred Super Bowl parties are just as great. Check out Blue Collar chef Danny Serfer's shrimp and bacon dip. Only he describes it with enough eloquence: "When you first look at it, it seems like a regular dip... Then you take a bite and you're like, 'Holy shit! Bacon and shrimp!'" Make sure you provide plenty of brew to go with your food. Good Beer Larry has a few tips on that, too.

Brunch is Better with Free Pancakes
Brunch is Miami's most popular meal, with just about every hot restaurant getting into the action. We love it because it allows us to have a meal with friends -- and booze -- while the sun is still shining. Khong River House recently launched their Thai-inspired brunch, available Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This weekend, the early bird gets the pancake! Stop into Khong this weekend from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and the table gets a free order of coconut and sesame pancakes to share.
