Miami's Best Eats and Drinks this Weekend
Miami Fine Chocolate & Food Show
thewannabechef.net
Chocolate aficionados need not fret over the wasteland that is the convenience store any longer. True chocolate has entered the building. Well, it will this Saturday. Pinecrest Gardens will host a true chocolate experience to attendees/lovers of all things chocolate, cheese, wine, spirits, and art. Savory nosh will be available by the likes of Norman Van Aken, Allen Susser, and Adrianne Calvo, complete with demos and seminars. Nibble on organic truffles, bars, and -- wait for it -- chocolate macarons. After you've had one of those, surely heaven awaits.
Calle Ocho
Yissenia Hernandez
There is nothing more Miami than Calle Ocho's annual festival. There is nothing more Latino. There is nothing more exotic. There is nothing more fun and festive than Latin America's pride fest in Little Havana. This year, we've provided you with a nifty guide to follow the fun madness: Calle Ocho 2013: A Guide to the Many Stages. It's got a picture of Mr. 305 and everything; superfancy. Don't miss out on one of Miami's greatest -- most "Miami" -- weekends ever. Paella, empanadas, chicharrones, flan, Jupiña, and Materva eagerly await your visit. ¡Dále!
