Eat Your Feelings. Tasty, tasty feelings.
This Monday hurts more than most. Whether you were partying with daddy or crying over the Heat's loss, even a lethal amount of caffeine doesn't seem enough today. When times are tough, start eating. Nothing soothes the stresses of life like comfort food. Creamy, dreamy, fatty goodness on a plate is the best way to get over any of life's disappointments.

It's time to get up, get moving and head to the closet for your roomiest pants. From down home barbecue and bacon old fashioneds to fried chicken tacos, this week is all about comfort food and drinks. So go; splash some cold brew on your face and get moving! The time to eat your feelings has come and its going to be epic.

Huahua's Taqueria
Huahua's Taqueria , a fast-casual concept from chef Todd Erickson, of Haven fame, opens today on South Beach. Until it's opening, Erickson had been serving an item off their menu at Haven once a week during Taco Tuesdays. This fried chicken taco with ancho ranch and jalapeño cornbread not only sounds like a good idea, it already has a loyal following.

Tuesday

Family Meal at Tongue & Cheek
From 5 to 7 p.m. every day, Tongue & Cheek offers up a $10 plate of home. These "family meals" change daily and include a dessert. On the menu today: shrimp lo mein, steamed vegetables, spicy tofu and fried ice cream. Yeah I said it, fried ice cream. If your more into traditional comfort, Thursday's grilled cheese and tomato soup family meal is right up your alley. Chips, pickles and a chocolate brownie round out this down-home dish.
