America's birthday is around the corner and it's time to celebrate. Not just any party will do for the red, white and blue. We need to be immersed in all things that make this country great. Sure, we're talking about freedom and flagrantly illegal fireworks displays; but we're also discussing booze, brews, babes and barbecue.

What better way to celebrate than with some of this country's most prized edibles? We all know the Fourth of July is about freedom, fireworks and fire-cooked meat. Whether you plan on firing up your own barbecue or you're looking to score at a prized purveyor, we have you covered.

On America's birthday, we certainly cannot overlook the most patriotic of spirits: Bourbon. Oh, and we mentioned babes right?

For the DIY Barbecuers

Graziano's Market, with three locations across South Florida, is a convenient and tasty place to pick up some fixin's for your July 4th celebration. Sure, they have killer cuts of beef complete with diagrams of the cow; but the real star here is the provoleta. This Argentinian cheese made from pulled provolone curd is meant to be grilled. Top that baby with some tomato, oregano and a wee bit of bacon, and you're in for a killer party app that will make you King of the 'Cue.

If you haven't sampled Proper Sausages' porky wares yet, this is the time to try. These local artisan sausage makers are the darling of foodies and chefs alike. They'll be closed on the 4th, so stop by their storefront before then to pick up some of their Independence Day dishes. Their Fourth of July features are perfect for your holiday barbecue: "Dub Rubbed" Berkshire pork spareribs, whiskey cherry venison sausage, potato salad with Proper Bacon & Lake Meadow Farm eggs, and sweet Summer corn salad with queso blanco, chili, and lime. We saved the best for last: Florida Wagyu bacon burger with Florida Wagyu brisket, house made bacon and sauteed onions. Boo-yah!
