Bar Crudo Now Serving Seafood in SoFi
SoFi seafood lovers officially have a new spot to call their own. Bar Crudo is now open at 40 South Pointe Drive, and it is doling out ocean delicacies like snapper ceviche, beet-cured hamachi and shrimp crostini.
From crab to cocktails, the cozy cafe was the brainchild of owners Andy Travaglia and Ken Ray of Maso Hospitality Group, who say they're focused on farm-to-table produce and sustainable seafood.
"Bar Crudo is bringing our unique concept of modern coastal cuisine to South of Fifth," said co-owner Andy Travaglia. "The focus of the menu is on fresh ingredients from the sea and earth. We are embracing our neighborhood by creating a spot for people to gather with friends for conversation and sharing small plates with craft cocktails or a selection from the well-curated wine list."
The menu includes concoctions like gazpacho with cucumber sorbet and daikon; octopus, ahi amarillo and sweet potato ceviche and crab, jicama and black garlic sushi rolls. There are also crostinis, salads, charcuterie and cheeses and desserts.
