Miami Spice for Weekend Brunch: Five Restaurants With Great Deals
Here's a news flash for ya. It's going to be a hot and sticky weekend. You've got two options: beach or brunch, although knowing us Miamians, we'll choose both.
John Zur Hakkasan has Dim Sum for Spice.
Though Miami Spice doesn't technically offer brunch deals, check out these restaurants serving great three-course "daytime meals" on the weekend. Forget the semantics and hit one of these places. Order a bloody mary and you've just turned your "lunch" to "brunch."
Salted lime pie at The Dutch: save room for dessert.
Four appetizers to choose from include an heirloom tomato salad or sheep's milk ricotta. Lunch entrees include the Dutch burger, crispy chicken salad, or a mahi sandwich. Want more protein? A gigantic 18-ounce, bone-in New York strip, served with Swank Salad is an additional $40. Desserts include bourbon bread pudding, sorbet, or salted lime pie.
$23 luxury lunch, served Saturday and Sunday.
Tosca Tosca. Beautiful in daylight, too.
Have you always wanted to try Tosca but your wallet said "no, no, no"? The Spice menu will fill you up at a reasonable price point. Start with escolar crudo, misticanza salad, or baby spinach salad, but leave room because the main course choices are all pasta. Choose from baked penne, spaghetti vongole, or prosciutto pansotti for your entree. If you've got any room left, there's panna cotta, mousse, or tiramisu for dessert.
$23 luxury lunch, served Sunday only.
