Will there be more monkeys in Bourdain's future?
Is there anything Anthony Bourdain can't do? Now pretty much retired from the kitchen, Bourdain is a television star, producer, writer, wannabe mixed martial artist, and Brony (a male fan of My Little Pony)!

Unlike most of us, who spent the summer trying to get in as much beach time as possible, Bourdain's been busy.

The first books from his Ecco book line was published (including Marilyn Hagerty's Grand Forks) and he's busy working on a new season of The Taste (with Marcus Samuelsson joining the show).

Mind of a Chef, the PBS show that Bourdain produces and narrates, premiered the first episode of its second season this week, with Sean Brock and April Bloomfield the "chef minds" that will be explored this year.

But it's season two of Bourdain's CNN travel show, Parts Unknown, premiering on September 15, that's the big draw for Bourdain fans. This year, the host will visit the usual mix of far and familiar places with Israel; Spain; New Mexico; Copenhagen; Sicily; Detroit; Tokyo; and South Africa on the itinerary.

To celebrate the new season, Eclectic Method has made an awesome remix from season one clips. Watch and get hungry for more:

The first book in Anthony Bourdain's line with Ecco was "The Prophets of Smoked Meat" by Daniel Vaughn.
