If you're anything like us, you're happy that the weather is getting cooler. But you're also sad because the next Miami Spice is ten months away.

In the medium term, we have some good news. French Spice is going on through November 15. It works just like Miami Spice -- you choose an appetizer, main course, and dessert for a fixed price of $39.

In its fourth year, the program is all about promoting French cuisine. There are more than ten participating restaurants, including Pascal's on Ponce, La Gloutonnerie, Villa Azur, and L'Entrecote de Paris.

If you're craving French fare in Brickell, visit Atrio at the Conrad. Chef Virgile Brandel has implemented his French culinary training and constructed an innovative menu.

As a starter, begin with the beef and truffle consommé. It's delicate and tasty.

Poached in red wine and served with brioche croutons, pancetta, and mushrooms, this egg dish is another delectable choice.

Your third option is smoked duck breast salad with endive, green beans, prunes, and foie gras bites.
