MidLoft Opens Tonight at George's Kitchen in Midtown, Offers Free Drinks
Georges-Eric Farge opened George's Kitchen in midtown in early 2013. Now he's taking advantage of Art Basel and debuting his newest concept, MidLoft, tonight. The spot will celebrate its grand opening all week.

MidLoft's décor fuses urbanity with artistry. Its menu features French-inspired dishes. There are tapas and exotic cocktails developed by Farge and mixologist Isaac Grillo.
At tonight's opening, nightlife gurus Tommy and Michelle Pooch will host a dinner party. DJ Irie will take the decks with Michelle, and work from photographer Jaramay Aref and artist D. Mason will be on a display in honor of Art Basel. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary bar and hors d'oeuvres from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Following the cocktail hour, there will be an option of a prix fixe or à la carte menu.
