Taco Bell Now Sells Jewelry
More and more people are willing to brand themselves with their favorite product's logo -- and pay for it. Iconic logos like Coca-Cola and Budweiser are available in wearables such as T-shirts, hats, and board shorts, which people happily purchase to showcase their favorite food or drink.
Taco Bell I'd like that ring with hot sauce.
Now that fad has expanded to jewelry. One of the most coveted gifts among tweens this holiday season was a diamond-encrused Hershey's kiss, which retails for $360 at Macys.com.
But why seal it with a kiss when you can live más? Introducing the Taco Bell ring set.
Two rings are fashioned from gold and silver wire. One spells "Taco," the other "Bell." The rings are available at the Live Mas Store for $24.95 for the set and come in sizes 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Which comes to our second observation -- there is a Live Mas store, offering all kinds of Taco Bell merchandise like trucker hats ($14.99), notebooks ($12.99), a black hoodie ($39.99), and a skate board ($59.99).
This isn't the first time a fast food company offered strange products. In 2008, Burger King released a limited-edition meat-scented cologne, then Pizza Hut followed suite with its slightly less repulsive pizza-scented scent. And, of course, each year Denny's offers a collectible Baconalia plate, suitable for display.
In any event, the Taco Bell rings are available for a limited time only. Just in case you want the world to know you go on midnight "border" runs.
