Le Fig.
10. Cane a Sucre
This North Miami lunch spot serves the Holy Trinity of lunch -- sandwiches, salads and soups -- with nearly all selections under $10. One of the best deals is the lunch special: half of any sandwich and soup of the day for just $6.50. Le Fig, with Gorgonzola cheese, fig confit, fresh oregano, walnuts, and a drizzle of honey on a warm baguette is a sandwich standout. With a fresh baguette, you can never go wrong.

Jerk chicken for five bucks.
9. Bo Legs BBQ
At Bo Legs BBQ, the weekday lunch special features barbecue classics for reduced prices -- $5 for chicken and $7 for ribs. The hot jerk chicken -- you can request it mild -- comes sandwiched between thick slices of white bread. The meat is delectable in its own right, but the sauce at Bo's is boss, so slather it on. The bottom slice of bread offers the foundation to sop it all up.

Should of had the Caffe inside Laurenzos Gourmet Italian Market in there.

Sometime hard to get a seat because everyone knows about the bargains for LUNCH.

Under $10.00 meals all day and night.

Dinner entrees served all day. All meals are Italian of course but the least expensive in Miami.

I went to King Palace Chinese BBQ for lunch recently because it was written about as a place that would be open during the holidays and I was floored at how bad the food was. I am a fan of hole-in-the-wall types of places and thought this was going to be a diamond in the rough, but no. It was just rough. Lipstick stains on multiple cups, moldy damp carpet, cold and rubbery "Crispy Pork", the bbq roast pork taste kind of old.  Just a warning to those who got enticed by that awesome picture. It's nothing like that. There's a ton of better cheapo chinese food spots around.

Not sure if my comment posted so I'll say it again - really great list you've compiled. I'm happy to see that a lot of these restaurants that offer lunch for under $10 are in the North Miami area. Little Havana Restaurant is a great one and definitely deserves the top spot - so thank you for this :)

How about some lunch options in areas where people actually work and have time to go to the place and get the lunch special

Here's a crazy idea:  How about giving the addresses of each of these places?  usually lunch spots directly relate to where one works or goes to school.  So listing the location would be helpful. Duh.

"...your stomach full and your wallet fatter..." - The adjectives should be switched if I look at the thumbnail pic...
