Located in the Gale Hotel, the Italian restaurant is unassuming yet charming. Short Order sampled the new offerings in celebration of the anniversary. Check out the pictures after the jump.
New cocktails have been added to Dolce's beverage menu. We sampled the apple basil smash ($13), which mixes Zu Vodka with elderflower liqueur, basil, green apple, and lime. If you're a fan of apple and sweets, you'll particularly enjoy this.
Want something with more of a kick? El Diablo ($14) will do the trick. Añejo tequila, fresh lime, and spicy agave nectar are topped with a jalapeño slice. It's a strong yet delicious drink.
We started off with a crudo tasting ($21), which showcases three raw offerings of seafood. Langoustine carpaccio, tuna tartare, and marinated salmon provide a tour of the sea. The tuna was our favorite.
We continued with a beef carpaccio pizza ($21), which excludes tomato sauce and instead employs mozzarella, arugula, truffles, pecorino, and Parmesan. You'll have no problem eating the entire pie.
