The Dead Rabbit pops up at Patpong Road.
The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog is one of the finest bars in New York, if not the world. Consisting of a casual tap room and upstairs parlor, this financial district gem is just a year old and has already won just about every accolade you can think of including being named World's Best New Cocktail Bar and World's Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.

It was also named one of the best bars in America by Esquire.

It's a big deal and it's popping up at Patpong Road for two nights during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

On Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, from 8 p.m. until ???, Miami cocktail enthusiasts will be able to experience Jack McGarry (who was named best bartender at Tales of the Cocktail) and Sean Muldoon's "historically accurate cocktails originally created by the nineteenth century's most celebrated bartenders" featuring some of the 21st century's best spirits including Absolut, Beefeater, Jameson, Patron, Basil Hayden, Beam Black and Cruzan Rums.

The pop-up is open to the public, but if you've ever been to Patpong Road, you know it's an intimate space, and there could be a wait. There are, however, a few secret ways to get to the front of the line and be treated like the VIP you are.

First, enter the "Make a Funny With Your Bunny" contest to win exclusive VIP access. Just follow @PatpongRoad on Instagram and Twitter and submit a photo showing the best use of a rabbit, using hashtag #DeadRabbitMiami. And make sure to not harm any real bunnies, OK?

Secondly, we have intel that some of the good people at Khong River House have wooden tokens, that can gain instant access into the Dead Rabbit pop-up. Randomly, the servers, hosts, management, and bartenders at the restaurant can bestow one of these coins on a patron at any time, for any reason -- but be forewarned: not everyone has these tokens and they can't be bought at any price.

How does one get their hands on these priceless discs? Joshua Holliday, lead bartender at Khong River House suggests just being nice --no bribery needed. We suggest ordering a few of his well-crafted cocktails and praising the living daylights out of him. (A nice tip can't hurt, either.)
