Win tickets to Taste of the Gables
Coral Gables Restaurant Week is back, but don't let the name deceive you. The event is actually three weeks long, affording you ample time to eat your way around the neighborhood. From June 9 to 29, more than 35 of the area's restaurants will offer prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at a discounted price.

This year's newcomers include Bellmont Restaurant, BrickTop's, Divino Ceviche, La Tagliatella, Uvaggio Restuarant & Wine Bar, and Open Stage Club. Favorite Gables haunts will also participate, including Swine, Bulla, Ortanique and the Local. All menus can be previewed online so you can scope out the best bites before committing.

If an economical meal is not enough, additional events will take place throughout the month, including a gnocchi-making class at Cibo Wine Bar, a sake seminar at Red Koi, an interactive cooking class at Ortanique, wine and flatbread pairings at Seasons 52, a Spanish feast at La Taberna Giralda, and Sushi and Sake 101 at SushiSamba. Details can be found here.

The biggest shindig of all will take place the evening of June 5. Taste of the Gables at the Westin Colonnade will offer a sneak peek of what you can expect. Upward of 20 restaurants will provide samples of their signature fare, and in true food-festival fashion, guests can vote on what they think is best.

Advance tickets cost $30 for general admission or $40 at the door and include all you can eat but not drink. VIP tickets cost $55 in advance or $65 at the door and give you access to the Bacardi open bar, more food stations, and a goodie bag to take home. Tickets can be purchased at coralgablesrestaurantweek.com.

Or win a pair of tickets right here, right now. Simply use our "comment" feature to share which Coral Gables restaurant you're most excited to try during restaurant week and why. Our favorite answer will win a pair of VIP tickets to Taste of the Gables. I am most excited to try sushi Samba as they are well known for their exotic cuisine, it is never enough to know from others experiences so I would love to win the pair of tickets to finally try it myself and invite others to join this spectacular event.

I am dying to try Christy at Coral Gables. I heard so much about the restaurant. Many of my friends' date took them there and had a great food and service.  They said the ambiance of the restaurant was super and the the rib eyes melt in their mouth.  Oh, don't forget the truffle mac n cheese that they adore.  I wish I can try out this elegant restaurant - Christy sometime in the near future with a date soon. Pick me  !! Pick me !! So I can be there !!  :-)

I'm super excited to try every restaurant!!!!!!! You can not go wrong with whatever you try. I'm excited to try every single one of these restaurants but I can honestly say I am anticipating more bulla with their endless amount of tasteful extraordinary delights. Every time I go there I try something new and I'm never disappointed. Can't wait to see what else they have to offer. Swine is another place I'm excited to try, everything from bacon and pork applied goodies you can't go wrong with that. Uvaggio is absolutely superb with an eclectic wine selection as well as scrumptious small plates that pair deliciously with any wine. I'm soooo excited for this event! Can't wait to try all the great restaurants and learn to fall in love with each and everyone of them!!!!!!!!

I've heard nothing but good things about every single one of those spots. Swine and Local are my favorite from the ones I have tried. I'd love to try Seasons 52 and Bellmont. I cant wait till this event so I can find new restaurants to love.

I'm dying to try Bulla on my date night....can't wait to share tapas with my honey and enjoy the new redone place. Plus....there's nothing sexier than some nice Spanish food, a pitcher of Sangria and some 'ole on the side. #lomasrico #cantwait

Bulla, my newest obsession is a Moscow Mule and to date they make the best one in this town.  They add a piece of candied ginger to that delish concoction which is served in a tin cup its served in, yes I said tin cup!

I want to try Cibo Wine Bar, I don't live too far.  I could drink a glass of wine, and take the time to dine.  After I'm done, I'll thank Miami New Times for the fun!

I would looovvee to try Cafe Vialetto!! I follow them on both Instagram and Facebook and drool everytime they post a picture of their featured dish of the week :D I have heard nothing but good reviews on the restaurant and REALLY want to try them out!! Haven't been able to go cause they are pretty pricey and on a budget but maybe I will get a chance with you guys!! Thanks for the opportunity :)

I would love to try Uvaggio. I have heard its a place the Gables has been missing! I love Cibo and Sushi Samba already and only have not tried Swine and Bulla since I don't eat meat Lol :)

I'd love to try Swine! If it's anything like it's sister restaurant Yardbirds Chicken fare it has to be a winner with it's pork cuisine.  Being able to skip the long lines and dive right into the bacon washed delights is a gastronomical dream of meteoric proportions!  @eyewonit

Divino Ceviche - I'm Peruvian, live in the Gables, and have never eaten here... Something's wrong.

I want to try Swine. Yes, I know all about the food from reading other S. Fl foodie blogs and reading Yelp reviews. But whenever I hear the word "swine", I think of Mike Tyson saying "That wretched swine of a woman" and it cracks me the hell up.

Would love to try Sushisamba... followed closely by Bulla. Why? I love inspired, authentic food and a night out with my husband is just what the doctor ordered! Thank you!

I'd be most excited to try Bulla. I'm a hugeeee fan of tapas style resturants because they give you the opportunity to try a little bit of everything and as a foodie who wouldn't love that! Lol

I really want to try either Swine or Bulla. I have only heard AMAZING things about Swine, but haven't had a chance to try it out, even though I only live a mile and a half from Miracle Mile. I am also interested in checking out Bulla. Since they have redone the space, a lot of friends have told me it is so different, and so much more laid back than the previous space. And the sangria is supposed to be to die for!

I'd be most excited to try Swine....I've been a vegetarian for 22 years, and have recently gotten a hankering for some pork.  Swine seems as though it would be the place to start such an endeavour, no?
