The sirens of craft beer are heard loud and clear in Miami, but the best part is when you feel the cold, sudsy goodness pour down the back of your throat.

And there will be much of that during American Craft Beer Week in Miami, where several breweries and bars are celebrating with copious amounts of special brew May 12 through 18.
Starting with Kush in Wynwood, the week will begin with tappings of local special releases such as Last Snow porter, Don't Tell Reece Peanut Butter Cup brown ale, and Raspberry Floridian on Tuesday. On Wednesday, a keg of Peppermint Paddy Stout and Scorpion IPA from Due South Brewing will be tapped, as well some Mexican Standoff saved especially for ACBW. Thursday brings the tapping of Cigar City Blueberry Muffin Brown Ale and Humidor American Sour. Kush will tap more special kegs throughout the week, including beer from Saint Somewhere Brewing Company.
The Abbey Brewing Company in Miami Beach will have a Stillwater Brewing night beginning Tuesday with a lineup of As Follows Belgian Strong Pale and Existent Dark Farmhouse Ale. Wednesday will be a California-meets-Florida night with Coronado Idiot IPA, Jurata Baltic Porter -- a collaboration between Cigar City and Coronado Brewing, Funky Buddha Crusher IPA, and More Moro Blood Orange IPA. Both events begin at 7 p.m.
