GastroPod Pop-Up at Eating House
What better way to start the week than with 12 courses? That's exactly what's happening tonight with this underground dinner at Eating House. Chefs Jeremiah Bullfrog and Giorgio Rapicavoli are going all out with a menu that includes blackened duck with black garlic and -- for dessert -- blackberry, hummus "cavatelli," and "peas and carrots." Two seatings (6:30 and 9:30 p.m.) are limited to 25 guests each and going fast. Dinner costs $100 a person, which comes out to less than 10 bones per dish. So what are you waiting for?
Bastille Day at L'echon Brasserie
L'echon only recently opened, but the Pubbelly boys are celebrating France's national holiday at their French brasserie with a special three-course prix fixe for $55 a person. On the menu: vegetable terrine and crisp pork belly with rosemary lamb jus.
