Happy Hour at L'Echon Brasserie
Have you checked out L'Echon Brasserie, the Pubbelly Boys' brand-spankin' new take on French fare? What are you waiting for -- a deal? Well, here it is. L'Echon Brasserie has launched a new happy hour, called le cinq a sept. Roughly translated, it means the two-hour period after work when the French meet up with their lovers before going home to their spouses. Ooh la la, indeed! So, for your 6 to 8 p.m. "tryst," choose from oysters ($2 each); pan con tomate ($2); tarte du jour ($7); a petite bistro burger ($5); petite croque monsieur ($3.50); marinated olives ($5), and pan con l'echon ($4.50). Well cocktails are $7, draft beers are $6, and a selection of wines are $6. Offered Monday through Friday, it's a damn fine way to say au revoir to the work week.
