Miami Spice Begins
billwisserphoto.com MC Kitchen is getting "Spice-y"
Today is August 1 and that means the start of a two-month eating binge in Miami's finest restaurants. We're talking, of course, about Miami Spice, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau's annual dining deal that features three-course meal deals that cost $23 for lunch and $39 for dinner. 174 restaurants are participating, so where to start? We suggest reading part one of our three-part guide. The "good" of Miami Spice gives you insight into restaurants that are doing it right by offering a good value for your buck. Next week, we'll tell you about the restaurants that fall under our "great" and "grudging" categories.
If you're into cocktails more than cheesecake, Tongue & Cheek's Miami Spice menu allows you to exchange your dessert for a crafted cocktail, wine, or beer. Plus, Jamie DeRosa's restaurant offers Spice for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Good deal for all you booze hounds out there.
Get the full roster of all participating restaurants and check out their menus at ilovemiamispice.com.
