Miami's Best Eats and Drinks This Weekend: Pubbelly Brunch, Back to School, and Spinning
Here's good news, Miami. Although it's about a million degrees out and we're on tropical storm alert, fall is right around the corner. Kids are back at school and our town is emerging from its humidity-driven semi-coma with a brand new brunch (by the Pubbelly boys, no less).

Here's the best of what's going on. Weekend starts now!
Bill Wisser These guys are now doing brunch!
Oh brunch, you are our reason for living. Each week, we slog through the muck and mire of our Monday - Friday routine for the promise of endless flutes of Prosecco, eggs, and French toast. This weekend, there's a new brunch in town and it's high time Pubbelly got on the brunch wagon, so to speak.
Starting Sunday, August 24, head over to one of Miami Beach's favorite spots for a brunch filled with eclairs stuffed with foie gras; French toast sticks; and eggs over easy with creamy bone marrow.
Brunch is served Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. We suggest getting there early. You're going to need four hours to eat your way through the menu.
Flywheel and Brunch

Here's a tip: Sunday brunch tastes even better after a good workout. There's nothing quite like sitting down to a caloririffic dish and a bloody mary after you've run a few miles or gone for an invigorating ten-mile bike ride. That's why we've signed up for Sunday's flywheel and brunch combo.
First, at 12:45 p.m. on August 24, you'll get your ass-whooped in a 45 minute bike class at Flywheel (1919 Purdy Ave., Miami Beach). If the other jocks in the class look familiar, that's because chefs Jamie DeRosa and Todd Erickson are working out alongside you.
Then, you'll head over to Tongue & Cheek, where the two chefs will serve you a multi-course collaborative brunch. Go ahead and indulge. You've worked off the calories in advance.
Want to feel even better? All proceeds benefit Live to Fight, a nonprofit organization that brings together people in the martial arts and mixed martial arts community to raise money and offer additional support for people with life-threatening illnesses. $50 gets you the class and brunch (excluding tip). Register in advance by sending an email to email@example.com. You'll get a link to pay through Paypal (or cash only the day of the event).
