Beer makes everything more fun!
There are a lot of options for your weekend festivities -- and many of them include beer, which is not too shabby.

Tobacco Road celebrates "last call," and although plans have been announced for the bar to move (and take a well-deserved cruise), it's a safe bet that thousands of people will show up to relieve a few memories -- and make new ones.

If you've got little ones or just like a side of spooky to go with your brunch, Tongue & Cheek is (g)hosting a fiendishly fun Halloween bash.

Of course, there's also a seafood festival on South Beach, and a bunch of beer-related activities including pairings, dinners, and our every own Beerfest.

Vikings love beer. And seafood. And they have great hats. We want to be Vikings too.
This week's activities swing from seafood to beer back to seafood again, with megafestivals dedicated to both.

Whether you're into king crab or stone crab, there's a great feast in the cards. And plenty of beer to wash it all down.

Here's to beer... and champagne... and caviar!
Miami is getting pretty fancy-schmancy this Columbus Day weekend, people.

If you have "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" but your wallet implies more of a beer budget, fret not, dear friends because we've got you covered.

Visit one of two swanky special food trucks this weekend when both the Clicquot mail truck and Lufthansa food truck make stops in Miami. Then, try some free caviar at Epicure.

If your tastes do run more to beer than the fancy stuff, head over to Schnebly Redland's Winery for the debut of the specially crafted pumpkin beer or to Wynwood Brewing Company, where they're showcasing a gold-medal winner, Pop's Porter.

An action-packed, chanpagne-and-beer-soaked, caviar-eating weekend starts now!

A toast to the weekend!
This weekend is all about the pop-up, the made-up, and the tatas. And all come in pairs!

First the pop-up: There are two different pop-ups this weekend: a speakeasy and a beer garden.

Then the made-up: As in made-up holidays. Again, there are two. National Taco Day and National Vodka Day happen to both be this Saturday and we have ways to celebrate.

Finally, the tatas! They generally come in pairs (unless you're Jasmine Tridevell, who always wanted triplets) and they're meant to be celebrated. We'll tell you how!

Thrill to the magic of J&G Grill's cuisine this weekend for your Miami Spice encore.
This week was pretty exciting in the Miami food scene, rainy days notwithstanding. This weekend is no slouch, either, with a host of free events, openings, and, of course, the last weekend in which to indulge in a three-course Miami Spice meal.

Louis Salgar will be remembered at Gramps.
Can you feel a change in the air? Fall is coming, bringing a time for endings and new beginnings. We say goodbye to summer, but look forward to a new school year for some and the holidays for most.

This weekend is filled with endings and new beginnings. Celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein, who closed her flagship restaurant Michy's a few months ago, is debuting a host of new dishes at a pop-up.

We enjoy the first tastes of Oktoberfest.

We also honor Louis Salgar this weekend, a member of Miami's bar community who was killed in a tragic burglary gone wrong.

They look spooky, but they taste like Juicy Fruit!
Happy Friday. If you've been inside just about any store, you've noticed pumpkins, ghouls, and candy on display -- which means that Miami is gearing up for fall -- even though it's still about a grillion degrees outside.

With fall come some amazing activities like football (and tailgates!), walks in the garden (with rare tropical fruit), and punching the hell out of something (followed by lunch and cocktails). Sounds amazing!

Drink up, it's a three day weekend!
Welcome to the unofficial last weekend of summer. To most of the world, this means getting the last beach weekend in before nine months of having to wear wooly sweaters and down jackets. To us, it means glorious 70-degree days are soon to come.

Miami does have one thing in common with our northern neighbors -- a three-day weekend! There's so much planned, you've got to have that extra day to pack it all in. From a master grilling class to a meatball giveaway to a celebration of bacon, here are our picks!

Brunch at Pubbelly. It's what's new for this week.
Here's good news, Miami. Although it's about a million degrees out and we're on tropical storm alert, fall is right around the corner. Kids are back at school and our town is emerging from its humidity-driven semi-coma with a brand new brunch (by the Pubbelly boys, no less).

Here's the best of what's going on. Weekend starts now!
