Easter treats at Solo!
This weekend packs a lot of punch in the holiday department. First off, Good Friday is today, and if you're planning on having a fish dish, we've got you covered.

Of course, Passover continues through the weekend, so be sure to stop at the market and take home some kosher Coca-Cola (it's made without corn syrup) while on your wat to Blue Collar for a special holiday version of the Corben.

Sunday, however, is the big one. Easter and 4/20 are both celebrated on the same day this year. Which s kind of awesome, considering all the chocolate bunnies and marshmallow chicks you'll have left over from brunch to enjoy in the evening!

Weekend starts now! Hop to it!

If you prefer to go swanky, there's the Veritage Miami interactive dinner. Not to worry if you can't rub two nickels together, because we've got free grilled cheese sammies for you too.

Ommegang Brewery
Drink in the fire and blood.
On Sunday, Game of Thrones returns. After last season's bloodbath, frankly we'll need a little liquid courage before we turn on the telly. Thankfully, Ommegang Brewery has timed the release of its newest Game of Thrones-inspired creation with the season premiere.

It's the new Fire and Blood Red Ale and you have to try it before it's all gone. Luckily there's a release party this weekend.

In case you're wondering how the one percent live, you can sample caviar or dine on gold-plated confections -- or just run for the bacon.

Lots to do... party starts now!

Lots of fish in the sea...and on my plate.
It's Friday and Ultra is filling Miami with music fans wearing DayGlo bikini tops and little else. If you're going, you'd best be planning for where to eat and drink after (you're going to need energy for the next day).

If you're more into Bermuda shorts than florescent ones, there's a great seafood festival on Sunday and a four-course dinner prepared by Dwyane Wade's personal chef.

Much to do, starting now.

It's that time of year again when Krispy Kreme burgers seem like a good idea.

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival is over for another year and, though some of us have been in serious detox mode, it's time to party once again. After all, how many days does your liver need to recover? We're saying five days should do it.

This weekend's activities are pretty varied -- from a good 'ole hootenanny complete with barbecue (and a six-hour open bar) to a celebration on the mile (complete with frita pop-up) to the celebration of the world's most beloved children's author (by eating green eggs and ham).

Your weekend starts now!

The Grand Tasting Village is the hub of this weekend's action.
The world culinary spotlight is trained on Miami this weekend as the South Beach Wine and Food Festival takes over most of our city. With dozens of celebrity chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Rachael Ray, Eric Ripert, Geoffrey Zakarian, and April Bloomfield cooking for us and posing for countless pictures, it's kind of hard to not let this take center stage (especially when the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models are in town for the event, too).

But this is Miami, folks, and we've got a bunch of other stuff going on including some fantastic pop-ups and dinners, a lot of freebies, an alternate festival, and a Brunch For Change. Let's explore the options.

You'll love this weekend.
Happy Valentine's Day. This holiday, which initially honored religious martyrs, is now a celebration of love, so whether you're planning a romantic dinner for two, having drinks with friends, baking a heart-shaped pizza for your kids, or just planning to cuddle your pup -- we wish you a sweet day.

Let's not forget that this is also President's Day Weekend, which means the 51st annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival and Miami International Boat Show are in town.

Much to do. Let's get started, shall we?
