In case you've been living under a rock the last few days, we want to spread the good news: Best of Miami 2013 is out.

That means that in newsstands all over Miami-Dade County, you have Miami Bibles to pick up. Think of them as the ultimate guide to eating your way through the city.

No need to share -- there's plenty for everyone.

But if you haven't picked up a copy yet, allow our guide to show you a great time with a Best of Miami edition.

It doesn't get better than this.

With all this San Antonio Spurs talk, we've got barbecue on the brain.
Is it safe to say that Tropical Storm Andrea was a real pisser for those of us in Dade County? Here we were thinking there would, at the very least, be downpours overnight, maybe a little flash flooding, a power flicker or two. But, no. Nothing. The only thing that happened was our satellite went out. Thanks, Direct TV!

Still, we're not going to let that dampen our weekend (ha! See what we did there?).

From a bloody Mary brunch to batidos de trigo and barbecue, here are Miami's best eats and drinks this weekend.

The best thing about living in Miami is that it's practically summer all year long. But every great thing comes at a cost, and for us, that is hurricane season. From tomorrow until November 30 (hurricane season!), we need to get our butts in gear and make sure our refrigerators and cabinets are locked and loaded in case of an emergency.

But first, we drink.

This weekend, everyone's favorite junior high read The Great Gatsby will be opening up for the second time in theaters. Naturally, Miami thought it was only appropriate to curate a few cocktail- and Roaring Twenties-themed parties and affairs at a few of our local establishments.

Ladies, throw on your finest flapper dress and non-skanky heels. Gentlemen, put on a tailored suit and make yourself look like a Dapper Dan Man.

And make room for martinis.

The weekend is upon us and we are suddenly thwarted into the realization that half the year has nearly passed already.

But where did the time go?!

Luckily, we can forget about all the things we pretty much only have 6 (ish) months left to do before the year's end and bask in the bountiful options our fair city gives us for the next few days.

Rob Schneider is here right now. Cinco de Mayo is Sunday. Mustaches are bound to be aplenty.

Feliz fin de semana!

If you think eating and drinking all week is irresponsible behavior, think again. While we all might be broke, underfed, and over-stressed, taking part in any kind of food-centric events helps us come back down to earth.

Hanging out with friends, sipping a fine wine, drinking a good craft, and noshing on a good snack really does help melt away all that damn stress we carry around throughout the week.

So do yourself a favor. Take a load off your back. Miami has five great suggestions for you.

We're quite pleased that the weather has taken a turn for the better here in the 305. Last week's miserable rain and constant drizzle made us feel like dogs. And that ain't cute.

But the balmy humidity's back, and so is the steamy heat. Miami could not be more herself right now, so it's time we take full advantage of it. Between delicious food festivals, evening cocktails and local markets, you're bound to find something to do this weekend from Miami's five best eats and drinks.

If you can avoid the rain this weekend, there's a handful of things to do that would be well worth the effort.

Luckily, one of the best events this weekend is a little north of Miami -- Beerfest. It's hosted by our sassy sister paper New Times Broward-Palm Beach.

In addition to that, our home away from home is throwing a bash in honor of our neighbors in New Orleans.

It's like a stay-cation, y'all!
