Nothing like ramen to warm the soul.
Baby it's cold outside, which means you'll need some piping-hot ramen noodles with smoked pork courtesy of Jeremiah Bullfrog or potent drinks from Cricket Nelson to keep your body temperature on the high side.

Good news: both are available this weekend, along with two brunches. One is a music and gin-laden finale at Tongue & Cheek tomorrow, whilst the other brings the joy of unlimited pisco sours to your Sunday afternoon. That's in addition to the endless amounts of ceviche and macarons you can now have every Sunday as part of La Mar's new brunch spread.

What are you waiting for? Weekend starts now.

If you're looking for a nice, peaceful weekend to catch up on chores before the family comes down from the Northeast to thaw out and eat turkey, forget it!

There are simply too many tempting options not to get out and enjoy Miami. Plus, there's something for everyone -- like a gigantic book fair featuring some of the best culinary names (we're referring to, Gabrielle Hamilton, who got a shout-out from Anthony Bourdain this week for her book, Prune):

If you're more into liquid arts, check out FIU's Brew Fest or Love and Wine, a rooftop soiree in the City Beautiful.

There's also a celebratory anniversary brunch at Pubbelly and a chance to actually do your Thanksgiving shopping..with free wine!

Weekend starts now!

LuckyRice is a feast for all senses.
Miami is really gearing up for the upcoming season's worth of parties.

To keep up with all the festivals and events, we suggest easing into the weekend with a casual happy hour on Friday (and we just happen to have discovered two new, fabulous ones).

Then, on Saturday, partake in a little brunch and culture (with a splash of fun) in Coconut Grove before heading to the beach for LuckyRice, a feast for all senses.

On Sunday, we see meat in your future. Start out with a beefy brunch, followed by a whole lot of P.I.G. goodness.

Beer makes everything more fun!
There are a lot of options for your weekend festivities -- and many of them include beer, which is not too shabby.

Tobacco Road celebrates "last call," and although plans have been announced for the bar to move (and take a well-deserved cruise), it's a safe bet that thousands of people will show up to relieve a few memories -- and make new ones.

If you've got little ones or just like a side of spooky to go with your brunch, Tongue & Cheek is (g)hosting a fiendishly fun Halloween bash.

Of course, there's also a seafood festival on South Beach, and a bunch of beer-related activities including pairings, dinners, and our every own Beerfest.

Weekend starts now!

Vikings love beer. And seafood. And they have great hats. We want to be Vikings too.
This week's activities swing from seafood to beer back to seafood again, with megafestivals dedicated to both.

Whether you're into king crab or stone crab, there's a great feast in the cards. And plenty of beer to wash it all down.

Here's to beer... and champagne... and caviar!
Miami is getting pretty fancy-schmancy this Columbus Day weekend, people.

If you have "champagne wishes and caviar dreams" but your wallet implies more of a beer budget, fret not, dear friends because we've got you covered.

Visit one of two swanky special food trucks this weekend when both the Clicquot mail truck and Lufthansa food truck make stops in Miami. Then, try some free caviar at Epicure.

If your tastes do run more to beer than the fancy stuff, head over to Schnebly Redland's Winery for the debut of the specially crafted pumpkin beer or to Wynwood Brewing Company, where they're showcasing a gold-medal winner, Pop's Porter.

An action-packed, chanpagne-and-beer-soaked, caviar-eating weekend starts now!
